[MLB-WIRELESS] Linksys WRT54g on TIB - cheaper elsewhere

yeah your right. Sorry I was thinking Whitfield near my folks place..... oh
well but it's only a mailing list so I'm not too fussed about spelling.

My point is the TIB is supposed to provide a 'heavy discount' to members
for a bulk purchase. The idea is to get enough people to purchase an item in
quantitiy to be able to offer a big discount. To me that means not having an
individual unit cost at one price, more units at another price and another
price for even more units. If someone wants to sell 100 units then I expect
everyone that buys one in the offer should be getting the 100 unit price, if
people can commit to buying 100 unit under the offer before it expires or
course.

When products are placed on the TIB that are the same price as retail prices
it degrades the credibility of the service and makes it just another form of
commercial advertising.

I'd like to see the savings that people are getting over the retail price
listed. Something like Vak used to do. List price +5%.

Regards,
g at z.

It is wit, or witty, it could well be something you don't know much about,
however I'd rather not jump to conclusions after reading just this one
post of yours.

Not to sure what is going on with this post, or what the point is. As time
passes, prices do change, look at the Cabletrons for example. The WRT54Gs
are only $220 now, directly from me, not ex-tib.

Jamie
