[MLB-WIRELESS] More help please.

I have now got them going but I have to keep the Cisco x software running on
each RedHat 9.0 machine to keep the link up. I want to be able to run it in
console only mode (hate GUI). As soon as I drop the x desktop on one of
them the link falls over. Does anyone have any ideas.

Have you configured /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts and network.opts?

Is this using kernel pcmcia? If so I've found it easier to remove
PCMCIA/Cardbus support from the kernel and also enable Wireless network
card support but disable installing of all drivers and then recompile
kernel and install. Then downloaded the latest pcmcia-cs package and
installed that separatelly.
I don't know a heck of alot about linux, i've just always done it this way
for wireless support and never had any problems.
