hello people,

i'm hoping to set up my node shortly, but b4 i do that i'd like to sort
myself out with some sort of, open-wrt, freifunk compliant, client-mode
supporting, detachable antenna (sma connector fitting!), economic and
outdoor proof router solution, a 'melbourne wireless' compatible router. if
you have any such thing or know what models to recommend- i know of the
linksys and meraki stuffs already- id much appreciate it.

at the meeting last fri, the meraki routers were all the rage. i like the
idea of this thing very much, i'm wondering whether i should just wait for
this thing to be fully compliant (however long that may be), or sort
something out in the meanwhile (in the event it never happens or becomes an
impossibility) . because i live like a pauper i can't afford the new stuff,
so i'm looking at stuff readily available second-hand, well supported and
well tested preferably under $100.

perhaps if any of you guys are looking to offload some of ur old junk, i'd
be happy to receive it either as a well placed donation (:D) or for a small
sum.

anyways i'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter

thx for hearing me out

rohan
