Here is an alternative model to consider for those who would like to receive
internet via their Melbourne Wireless infrastructure.

1) Approach one or preferably several local ISP's to buy internet services
directly from their premises.

2) Nodes are built on participating ISP premises with links to MW backbone.
(there may be some pros and cons to consider as to who should own these
nodes)

3) Individual MW members enter into arrangements with the participating
ISP's to purchase services.

These services should be considerably cheaper than those physically
delivered by the incumbent telcos. Savings could be shared by the MW
members and the telcos so everyone benefits. MW remains as a non-commercial
entity operating under the current model.
