Hi all,
This is a note to let you know that I've installed the OLSR (www.olsr.org)
routing daemon on Node GHO. I've done this so that people can do a
side-by-side comparison with OSPF if they wish.
I'm using olsrd version 0.4.10, and I'm using ETX Link Quality extensions
(level 2).
For more information, please see the OLSR Experiment wiki page:
http://www.melbournewireless.org.au/wiki/?OLSRExperiment
If you plan to run OLSR, and you have downstream nodes connected to you,
please set up an OLSR/OSPF route gateway on your node as detailed on the
wiki page. And please only do it if all the nodes between you and GHO are
also running OSPF and OLSR. Because there isn't yet a stable way for Quagga
and olsrd to exchange routes, we need to keep the OLSR/OSPF "zone" a single,
unfragmented cluster.
Please detail your experiences here and/or on the wiki page.
Cheers,
Dan
