Might be cause for return!
Anyway, all I want to be able to do with it is stick a sim card in it and
get the GPS location out of it when you ring the phone number.
If I can rig it to also be an in car phone then that's even better.
Regards,

I received a standard form reply saying "we listed what we knew" but it
looks like they've added in some extra clarification wording anyway. ;-P
http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/p/transcom-vts3000x-mobile-communications-gate
way-gps-gprs/
or http://tinyurl.com/ykhew4
"Hook your PDA or Laptop up to this Mobile Communications Gateway via an
adaptor and track your real time position using your own global
positioning software."
[...]
"Note: The VTS3000X is for sale at a excellent price because it does not
come with any global positioning software."
(Is there much point using the VTS3000X to output GPS data only? Wouldn't
the additional GPS unit they included do the same trick? Oh well, looking
forward to getting my sexy black box to do something... :) )
Cheers.
