Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] Galaxy Dish Mod Video File.
Hi ppl,
As asked, I have had a play with the 108MB MPG video file of the modifying of a 18dbi Conifer Pay TV dish
for wireless networking purposes.
As is also the case with video files I have had to make a compromise between size and quality.
So what I have ended up with is a DivX file 74MB long of similar quality to the original file. This is around a
32% (for the 76MB) and a 65% (for the 38MB), saving on download bandwidth.
I also managed a 38MB file with reduced quality but none the less still very watchable.
The Video is encoded with the DivX 5.0 codec and the audio is a Microsoft PCM (76MB) and MP3 (38MB) codec. Fairly common.
If the committee think this is suitable, I can either, ftp it to a site of their naming (I dont really think an email attachment
would work), or mail a CD with the file to whom ever in the committee, for placement on the server??
Can one of those committee members concerned please let me know.
Regards
Mark
