Video File.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi ppl,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>As asked, I have had a play with the 108MB MPG
video file of the modifying of a 18dbi Conifer Pay TV dish</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>for wireless networking purposes.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>As is also the case with video files I have had
to make a compromise between size and quality.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>So what I have ended </FONT><FONT face=Arial
size=2>up with is a DivX file 74MB long of similar quality to the original
file. This is around a </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>32% (for the 76MB) and a 65% (for the
38MB), saving on download </FONT><FONT face=Arial
size=2>bandwidth.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I also managed a 38MB file with reduced quality
but none the less still very watchable.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The Video is encoded with the DivX 5.0 codec and
the audio is a Microsoft PCM (76MB) and MP3 (38MB) codec. Fairly
common.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>If the committee think this is suitable, I can
either, ftp it to a site of their naming (I dont really think an email
attachment</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>would work), or mail a CD with the file to
whom ever in the committee, for placement on the server??</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Can one of those committee members concerned
please let me know.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Regards</FONT></DIV>
