I've looked at the raw source of Mark's message and I can't see a
single thing wrong with it. It appears to be a totally bog standard
multipart/alternative e-mail with text/plain and text/html parts,
correctly delimited etc. Both parts display properly in my client as
well.
The simplest explanation is probably the correct one, so I'd say the
message has become mangled somewhere after entering your systems.
