[MLB-WIRELESS] Node DJJ goes live...

Managed to get my node on the air tonight, and am very happy to have finally
pulled this off!

Hardware is a 10dBi omni attached to the TV antenna mast, a 10 metre run of
LMR-400, and a Compaq WL200 in a P3-700 box. Mandrake 9.0 is the OS of
choice, with HostAP drivers for the WL200 running in AP mode.

DCHP dishes out addresses in the 10.10.64.48/28 range, and there's a web
server on 10.10.64.49 with wiki and guestbook, in case anyone makes a
connection and wants to leave their mark.

I don't think I can get a signal to Glen's node AAC or the guys at FUS,
which is a shame.

For the curious, a few pics of the box and antenna are available here:

Locfinder entry is here:

Wiki entry detailing my poor LOS (all of Kingsbury, some of Reservoir, not
much else) is here: http://melbourne.wireless.org.au/wiki/?NodeDJJ

Cheers,
Ben.
