LOL, indeed. :-)

YAAAAY! :-)

In the specific case I mentioned, avoiding channel 1 outdoors is all you
need to do, so a 2/7/12 split would be fine. Also, avoid the "power hacks"
(unless you have access to a 2.4 GHz spectrum analyser). Also, keep in mind
if you interfere with licenced users, technically, you're operating
illegally.

The area that is of real concern is 2400 - 2404 MHz. around 2401 MHz is the
downlink for AO-40, and terrestrial weak signal operation occurs around 2403
MHz.

There are other frequencies where mutual interference may occur, but these
are less likely to be serious, as they don't involve weak signal operation
that occurs on the 2400-2404 MHz part of the band, and I'm sure a bit of
give and take will probably be the order of the day. I'll probably get some
first hand experience when I start playing with 2.4 GHz ATV (hmm, could make
a mess of my own WLAN LOL), and work on strategies to minimise that problem
(which for me will be a worst case scenario that few others will have to
deal with).

Eeeeek.
