468 radios in
Australia.

Not legal at all.  These sound like US FRS radios.  The equivalent here is
the little UHF CB units (like the 200 mW Unidens and Kenwoods).

Basically, do NOT buy any communications gear from overseas (exceptions are
mainly ham gear and 802.xx WLAN stuff), as it will be 99.99% probability of
being illegal to use here.  Even gear which nominally conforms to our specs
(e.g. a UD 40 channel CB) is not type approved for use in OZ...

Anyway, the 465-467 MHz band here is commercial spectrum, and you might even
be lucky to talk to a friendly fireman or cop around the top end of that
band... :-)
