[MLB-WIRELESS] Enterasys cards & product range with guarenteed delivery.

I know large compaines give discounts to customers even through resellers.
I've heard of up to 50%+ off Cisco gear even through a reseller. Makes a big
difference when you are buying a loaded 7513 :) Enterasys could do
something similar, a melb wireless discount available through resellers.
That way resellers are happy, and we can buy anywhere at the correct
discount.

 Anyway, just a thought. Cheers.

Regards,
Gaz.

They are most certainly going to alienate their retail channel. Think
about it for a moment. They are cutting the resellers out of the loop.

Yeah, it's the major thing holding me back.

We can get them to sign something saying they won't onsell the cards and
put notices up all over the site when they are making their order. then
they can't complain if we cut them off if they start reselling them. If
people *do* start to resell them you can bet that Enterasys will cut us
off as it will *certainly* piss off their retail channel if this starts
happening.

It's a good idea in principle, but there's lots of things to be worked
through. But I certainly think it's worth a go.
