[MLB-WIRELESS] IP addressing, OSPF and a .plan

Howdy again,

Been reading the archives, and read most of the messages
 about IP addressing.

I know some people don't want to talk about it, but it
seemed that there was *almost* a decision made to use
 net 10 for clients and net 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
 for links.

Also, there was *almost* a decision made to use OSPF.

Ok, next step... how about a plan? For those that want
to build true permanent RAN access points / links etc,
can we note them down and work out a plan on setting
up these permanent access point / links and interconnect
 them?

(yes I know that's the goal, but I'd like to know my
node is helping link others together, and see the plan
of how I fit into the goal as opposed to just hacking,
 guessing and hoping)

I think if we want to build a real RAN, then these
topics need to be decided on soon.

Can we just decide to adopt net 10, net 172.16 and OSPF
until something better comes along? How does the saying
 go... 'results not perfection' ??

Should we vote? Put it up on the web site for a while.

Regards,
Gaz.
