Just to play devil's advocate here...  I thought that depended on who owned 
the network units.  If Melb Wireless owns the infrastructure, then no 
problem.  But aren't nodes going to be individually owned?

Well, since Internet access costs someone money, I feel it should be member 
only.  General network access should be open to anyone who is passing 
through and cares to connect. :)
