That's totally ok, but it won't be 56kbps, the max you can get over analogue
lines is 33.6kbps.

To do 56kbps you need ISDN lines at (at least) one end, and then the return
path is a max of 28kbps.

The nice thing about ISDN DoV is that you get 56 (or 64) kbps in both
directions.
