Sorry, mate - as yet there's no serious way for you to do this. There are a
few web cafes that are considering offering this kind of service, but it's
very much ad-hoc and I don't know of anyone who's actually offering it yet.

A PCMCIA card should set you back about $100-$250 depending on which brand
you buy and where you get it.

in melbourne that u can patch into 802.1b network to gain access to the net,
mainly for when i'm roaming with my notebook
