www.auctiontrader.com.au also has some pretty decent stuff from time to
time. Grays Online are the guys who do the big sales when companies such as
One.Tel go bust or the likes of IBM or Dell have warehouses full of
unfulfilled hardware orders that need to be cleared. In some cases you have
to be in meatspace to bid for the Grays stuff, whereas the auctiontrader
stuff is mainly warehoused in Collingwood, so you can see before you buy
exclusively in cyberspace. Grays also attracts a lot of commercial interest
from ISPs and the like for quality, low-hour equipment, so you bid with the
big boys.
