[MLB-WIRELESS] Regional Groups

doesn't look to bad as a first cut... the key point so far from the
emails is to see how it evolves.

To that end, do we have any data on the network connections currently
set up or even the node locs so that we can start to take this the next
step?

(thinks: this is starting to look very GIS)

On another note:
A collegue and I were going to try and set up a LOS link between our
respective houses near the eastern edge of the Eastern Region (I live on
High st rd at the crest between galaghars and Springvale roads, he lives
off high street road west of springvale rd. We think we have line of
sight... just maybe... if the tree in the way that has lost it's leaves
over winter stays that way (yeah right!). so we are looking to connect
through a third party (at the moment this is an academic excersise to
see if we can... we need to build boxes, cables, cantennas...)

anyone interested? it's about time we set up a solid group of connected
houses in that area (I live on the crest of a ridge overlooking the
dandenongs... I can see the dand foothills, notrons park, parts of
wheelers hill, the bits of Vermot/GW south of Burwood Hwy, and some way
back up towards Springvale Rd.
