What about a "wish list".
People could add their names to common hardware that people purchase.
Might help some companies see some value in selling to the group if there is
already a list of people who say they would need certain equipment.

I know it's only suited for bulk buys at the moment, but one assumes it
could be altered to cater for individual sales as well...

I have just been thinking about the possibility of a small and very simple
database where people could put wireless networking items that they have for
sale onto. I would say for this sorta thing it would have to be limited to
those on the Mailing list so as to avoid getting unwanted junk cluttering up
the list.
Obviously this is only a thought at this stage and any feedback would be
welcome although it may pay to do it off list.
