[MLB-WIRELESS] Omni antenna's

Ok i have seen the links on the net for the omni antenna's but im wondering if anyone has accually made and tested any of them?? or maybe some other type of wide angle antenna (pannel etc.)

im looking to get an antenna up but i dont want to limit my options at the moment so if there was a wide angle antenna up it would be alot better.

any suggestions?? 

and yes money is allways a problem thats why the home made is better .
