Thats the big stumbling block, no ext ant. If someone can get into one with a dig cam and post for the group to see, theres enough loons with a soldering iron here to say yay or nay to getting them wired. As for a driver I dont care, I want them in windoze for my app, but how about approaching Jean T or other genious types to ask them how hard it is to compile something like that?! Look at the reviews for these things (like on the ebay pages for them) and youll see theyre slow as a wet weak, but for the price woohoo! From the pics Ive seen it may be hard to wire an ant, but Ive not seen inside them.

Its a bit hard to tell but right next to each other I find I get about the max, so the strongest signal is the fastest and then the further you get away from each other the slower it goes.
You have to remember they are very cheap cards. They could be quite valuable if we can find a way to hook on an ext. ant, I haven't been able to get them working in Linux

       lol thats my auction.
I bought a couple of these from the US to play around with.. The range isn't very good but if we could hack on an ext. ant they're very cheap to buy which is a huge plus.

On the same topic, looking at the pic of the card it looks near impossible
to mod for an external ant, if the rectangular gold bit is a wafer ant??
        Anyone?
