As for other reasons, someone will restate those I'm sure.

I can't think of many situations for (serious) companies that "wouldn't"
matter.. there is too much of a reliability problem, and lack of SLA's,
which I'm sure many people here will state, which is unacceptable for a
majority of businesses.

That said, if it involves VPN's, and nothing degradating on the rest of
the nodes, I suspect it will become an issue of "don't ask; don't tell"...
