Hi Paul,

Yup. There's been quite a bit of activity in Geelong over the last
couple of months. The main node for that area is JEE (
http://www.melbournewireless.org.au/maps/view?JEE ) in Highton which
links back across the bay to Mount Dandenong, but there are quite a
few other nodes in the area. People you might want to try and get in
contact with are Andrew (
http://www.melbournewireless.org.au/users/?ckd ) and Mike (
http://www.melbournewireless.org.au/users/?meverest ) who I know are
both pretty active down that way.

We also have our monthly meeting this Friday from 7:30pm at the
Hawthorne Scout Hall (
http://www.melbournewireless.org.au/events/venue ). I know it's a bit
of a hike from Geelong, but it's one of the best ways to find out
about the club and get your questions answered. Entry's free and
there's also $2 snags and drinks if you're hungry. ;)

Even though I'm over the completely wrong side of the city, if you've
got any general questions about wireless or the network in general I
should be able to point you in the right direction.

Cheers,
David Coles,
Node JQY
