Hello,

I have the need for a small form computer that will be performing just 
one task.

The task is a Hamradio VOIP program called Echolink,  allows 
interconnection of two way radios into the internet
and connection to other two way radios, conference servers or 
individuals.  It will be a 24/7 application.


I have been looking at the Wyse 9150SE thin client on ebay for this app. 
but what I need to know,  as these
run a WinXP embedded OS and generally are designed to operate through a 
Remote Desktop arrangement,
can you still load windows apps onto them to work independently of any 
RDC or server system?

Or maybe you have another suggestion/model/idea.
