Hi Zik,

Yep , already got two of them running
with openwrt and live webcams.

One is running ILC's link to GHO

The other is running JIA's link to HVC.

So yes they work nicely.

One tip, use the recovery mode & then tftp the same 
image you'd use for the wl500g to this one.

I've just bought an ASUS WL500GP (the "premium" version of the WL500G)
with the idea of turning it into my melb wireless router. There's a
mention of this router on the wiki with the ominous words "Openwrt
support is there, but some manual intervention is required". Before I
start trying to get OpenWrt running on it does anyone have any
experiences with OpenWrt on this box?
