This is also a bit of a test as I've just figured out how to change my
subscribed email address...

Anyway, has anyone used one of these Senao outdoor units with an
integrated panel antenna? This one includes an integrated 9dB panel
antenna, 35dBm max EIRP:

It's also available with an external antenna connection, or an integrated
16dB antenna (...which at 26dB output from the AP would be illegal?...)

At $350 it initially seemed a bit steep when my main aim is wanting to
offer free internnet access to the masses, but I realised I'd probably end
up spending that much by buying the parts separately anyway.

The catch is that it's presumably going to be a fairly directional antenna
- I can't seem to find any radiation patterns. Guess I just could add more
if they're too directional. ;) ;)

Interested in any pro/con comments (all in one versus custom built)

Cheers.
