[MLB-WIRELESS] ASUS Wl-500g and USB modems

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the ASUS wl-500g and
USB modems, presumably under openwrt.

I have two of these setup to share an ISDN connection (only using one at
a time!) using a NT1 PlusII modem (detected by the acm module). All has
been (apparently) fine for months until trying to setup QoS. For
setting up the scripts I tried several bandwidth / speed testers. The
download speed through the router is fine ~ 14k/sec normally (128/128
ISDN), but i have never actually tried an upload test. Last night i
tried an upload test and the results were worrying. They basically
appear to be about half the download speed. When i unplugged the NT
from the router and back directly into USB port of my XP computer the
tests pass as expected - full speed in both directions.

Does anyone have any speed tests or anecdotes regarding the wl-500g's
USB bidirectional speed or issues with versions of the acm module. Its
probably a config / firmware issue, but im trying to find a starting
place for investigations.
