hiyall, this is quite off topic but I just got this warning and wanted
to pass it on. This is a real scam, I've had the call in question (read
below) and not called back, luckily.

Just a forewarning about a group who are trying to scam people.


They call your mobile, it only rings once, then you have a missed call
showing.

*If you call them back, they charge your mobile account $50.*

I actually had one of the numbers below call my phone yesterday at
8.05am - (02) 8404 2236.

I didn't call back cos I refuse to return calls from numbers I don't
know...lucky for me!!  Just don't call these people back if you get a
missed call from them.


Below is some more info about it:

If you get a missed call from one of the following numbers, don't call
it back.

If you do, you will be charged $50 as it is an internet number...it says
you have won $40 and to call another number....then you will get slapped
with another $50 amount!
