[MLB-WIRELESS] directional versus omni directional antennas

i met you at a previous meeting about 4 months earlier this year
i was trying to hook up wirelessly with my brother in devon meadows!!

thanks for confirmation, are there any ready made antennas to use and where 
can i get one ?
what software do i need to download to get started on the melb wireless 
community ?
