Maybe its because bandwidth costs here are heading up again.
All the "unlimited" plans are simply compaines either over subscribing
their upstream bandwidth or betting people aren't going to be using it.

Keep in mind that a 1.5/256 adls circut that is maxed out for a month will
give you about 522 gig of download which means a typical 3 gig plan only
lets you use the line at 100% for only .57% of the time.

Three years ago I could buy a real unlimited IP circut for $1100 per
megabit.   Tht price has now gone up to $3500.  Thats insane in a field
where prices everywhere else the the world are heading down fast.
