Hi,

I sent this from my work account but maybe they stopped it???

I am having a problem with my minitar Ap.

I spent quite a bit of time over the weekend reading a case & PoE
adaptors. When it was finished I placed the good old minitar
into the case and tested it.

I could see it's ssid (Node_GXT_minitar) on Netstumbler, I could
associate with it, and access PC systems on the LAN side, as
well as access the lapton from the lan side. But for the life of me I
could not access the AP's web interface. I could not scan for
any ip address (apart from all PC/Network equip on my LAN) that linked
to the Minitar's web interface. I used Look at Lan.

I did a hard reset, although this took some doing it defaulted back to a
ssid or "default" which I could still associate with and pass
data through to other systems as before, but no web interface on the
manual's 192.168.2.1 ip address.

Again using Look at Lan Iscanned.....

192.168.0.0 > 192.168.255.255

and for good measure....

10.10.0.0 > 10.10.255.255

with no luck.

It appears that the web interface must be broken or something in the
front end corrupted???

Would the "serial port mod" available for minitars allow me a tty
session access to the unit or would I still require a ip address to "slip"
to it?

Anyone have any ideas?

Regards

Mark
