Yeah, same here Pete, I've been using xboxgw ( http://www.xboxgw.com/ ) 
which you setup up in linux, one as a server, and the others as clients, 
has built-in chat as well
On the subject of content, can i bring to the lists attention some 
alternatives to ftp that Jarrod Neven (nodeHVG) has successfully 
implemented into rgmaribyrnong. Its using p2p s/w aka napster for 
sharing files
