Wow Gaz,

What a good spot for a node! I know the area, near the corner of
Burwood Hwy and Warrigal Rd - in some spots you can see for miles just
standing on the footpath - very hilly.

How high is the tower? And I'm assuming a there is power available
close to the tower?

This is one of those interesting situations - I'm seriously considering
donating a whole "node-in-a-box" to the location - but maybe we should
pass the hat around and make it a grassroots-funded node. This
situation has occurred before - a few months ago GHO was going to be
funded a similar way. It will almost certainly happen again. A
location will appear which benefits a lot of people, but no one person
should fund it completely - and it may not be a location that ends up
being funded by the MW committee. Perhaps we can come up with a set of
guidelines as to how a node like this should be funded?

Before the committee fully funds a node and turns it into a Backbone
node there should probably be some sort of basic node there already -
just to prove that the location "works" and that people are interested
in linking to it.

Cheers,

Dan
