[MLB-WIRELESS] (Sveasoft or otherwise) A stable reliable Wrt54g in client mode

Hi Peter, 
 
I have four WRT54GS one of which is running in client mode over a 8.6km link to another on in AP mode both running alchemy5.1.
 
The secret is use Alchemy 5.1 only.It is the only one of alchemy versions that works.

I'm wondering if anyone can help with a configuration to get the wrt54g
V2 stable in client mode to an ap.

I've tried various Sveasoft firmware without much success (the wrt will
ping fine with satori 401g until you send one packet of other traffic ,
then it dies)
and am curious as to other people's experience in this area.
