[MLB-WIRELESS] WiMax, Was: piece in the age on new wireless carriers

Yeah, very interesting.  I wonder if there's a place in this brave new
world of Wireless ISPs for community wireless?  When WiMax licenses are
handed out there will be heaps of these WISPs.  I wonder if the
government would hand out community WiMax licenses, in the same way that
it has handed out community radio and community television licenses?  I
do hope that the WISPs get out of the 2.4GHz ISM band when WiMax becomes
viable.
