you miss the point as soon as you plug it in it is automaticly doing all of
that, no wierd ass software/regediting

Looks like a vanilla PCMCIA client card to me. The rest (bridge, router) is
all done in software, and can be done with any client card. Even AP mode can
be done on some client cards (eg Orinoco, Prism 2/2.5/3).

Nothing special there.
