I still believe there is a need for an impartial national lobby group 
to represent us to governments, in the interest of all the freenets 
in the country, without confusing those issues with the very 
different ones faced by commercial users.

Whether AWA is/can become that group is a discussion for another day. 
Personally I think it needs to be a new body that is completely 
separate from any single existing network.
