[MLB-WIRELESS] Help Wanted

Greetings
Wondering if somebody can help me out. I dont really know anything about 
wireless conectivity, but I have been in IT for many years. I want to 
connect somebody that lives about 400m away from me up to my network.

They will be the only one connecting, and will need a reasonable amount 
of bandwidth to transfer files around 10mb in size and browse an 
intranet and collect local mail.

I would like some suggestions as to the type of hardware I will nead.

One side (where the server is) is a linux PC. The other is a Mac running 
OSX.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
