I doubt crosstalk will be an issue as it's not modulated/alternating DC. It's
shouldn't be an issue anyway since ethernet uses a differential coding system.
(Ie it's DC bias is not as important, only the difference between the two
potentials - ie TX +/- & RX +/-)

It does, otherwise electromagnets such as solenoids, etc wouldn't work.All it
means is that the magnetic field is only pointing in 1 direction.and not
alternating.

It's the alternating magnetic field (ie Alternating DC) that induces a current
into the other pairs.

I feel that's right, but correct me if I'm wrong.
