Problem is they said the model had just been replaced, with this one;

You seem to lose PCMCIA, I guess its just a small matter to use them with
a cradle, with one or two slots as required.

Ive made some enquires before on other brands, and the pricing is
typically scary to things distributed via your usual PC chains.
