Yep, I agree. I suppose I wasn't really all that clear. I meant from a
technical point of view there's issues with 'passing-on' traffic between
differnet modes unless you have 2 interfaces (which may be beyond the
financial commitment some people are willing to make).

However, I agree with you entirely - hence me buying an AP and putting
it in a box for my use, as for that situation, it was the most
practical/feasible solution for me. This I suppose is probably the key
rule - a node that _may_ have some talking/connectivity issues to some
other nodes is better than no node at all :)

Still, particularly for people new to wireless, all this should be
written down and summarized somewhere rather than on the mailing list.
Any volunteers for someone to transcribe this to the wiki? ;)
