[MLB-WIRELESS] help with ricoh cradle

You'll need the proper enterasys drivers (just the standard PCMCIA ones off
the site), as the default windows orinoco style ones are sh*thouse.

You _may_ also need the attached registry patch (though try it without
first). If the whole machine locks up when you put in the card, then you
need the patch :)

Good luck!

Thanks,

I installed SP3 and now it detects it fine. Funny that the other PC was a
plain 2K install with no service packs. Hey ho.. now to get them to talk to
each other. Should they just up and go or do I need further drivers?

The only thing that springs instantly to mind (Win2K should have drivers) is
the service pack revision installed. Try ticking the 'On windows update'
option in the locate driver dialogue maybe.

Hi,
Im having trouble with one of my two ricoh cradle/enterasys card
combinations. I put my first set (I have two) in a pc running win2k and it
detected and installed all by itself. (as I expected it to). However, when i
put my second set in another pc running windows 2k it located a PCI device
and ran the new hardware wizard.... it can't find any drivers. Can anyone
tell me why this is happening, has it happened to anyone else? I am now in
the unenviable position of having one PC with a wireless link but nothing to
connect to :-(. Are there a set of the win2k drivers located somewhere?

Thanks in advance

    Brendon Codling
