[MLB-WIRELESS] passive repeater

Hi Folks

Sanbar, your passive repeater might not be myth after all (for those sceptics
such as myself).

I was speaking to a Ham a few days ago and he said it's quite a common trick.


Where the your design differs from the one that was described was that they
change the polarisation between the two antennas.

The design described had 2 antennas back to back with opposite polarisation.

The reason for this is to stop any interference between the two two signals.


Apparently they do this across the Nullabore except that they zig zag the repeater
stations so that the signal from antenna 1 doesn't affect antenna 3.
