Greetings
Tomorrow Myself, Ryan and whomever else will be doing some antenna building workshops. I will provide all materials required for $20 per 'kit'. This is the 'http://wireless.gumph.org/ Omni design which has proven quite adequate. (opinions and performance may vary wildly)

Equipment required is listed below with approximate costs, Im not looking to make money, just recover costs so if you can get this stuff cheaper yourself, by all means do.

$3.00 PVC Pipe - approx 50cms
$0.66 PVC pipe 'cap'
$5.00 Female clamp-type N connector
$2.50 approx 50cm of rg213 co-axial cable
$0.50 heatshrink
$0.50 solder (maybe)

You're thinking, "hey, that dosent add up to $20". well, I was never very good at maths.
I have to allow for running about collecting the gear too, its never in the one place, and it does actually cost me approx $20 per unit.. go figure.

*If you have a nice sharp stanley knife, bring it along. everyone making a unit will need one, I have quite a few, but yours will most likely be better than $2 shop specials.

*junior hacksaw; although this can be shared, and it seems we have a couple to play with, If you have one of these 'baby hacksaws' bring it along too. - regular hacksaws arent really good as they remove about twice as much material in the cut.

Should be a fun day and hopefully we'll see a few new active nodes pop up as a result.
