interested in enriching communities through accessible electronic 
networking. Previous conferences have been a feature of the 
electronic community networking landscape in Australia since 1996.

Aims and Themes of the conference

To energise practitioners, policy makers, academics and business 
people working in the field of community networking using information 
and communication technology (ICT)
To engage delegates in issues of community networking and increase 
understanding in how community networking principles can contribute 
significantly to community building.

Presentations at the conference address many themes include advocacy 
and political action; ageing; community  building,  education, 
learning, and community  networking; disability; digital divide; 
government networks for the community;  indigenous and minority 
networking; library networking; public policy; theory and small 
business; and technical issues.
