Maybe wireless networks could look at providing DGPS over IP. There was one
piece of software that did this, but I can't seem to find it anymore - but
building something like it wouldn't be too hard.

Of course, that would require the node to know it's EXACT location, but a
standard GPS should be able to get reasonable accuracy if the data is
averaged over a lengthy period of time.
