I find commercial providers using 2.4 GHz to be a rather scary proposition.
It takes one licenced amateur transmitter in the wrong spot to ruin your day
(and you have no protection - you have to just wear it).

For melb wireless, this is just something we have to wear, but we're not
involving money, other than personal setup costs.
