[MLB-WIRELESS] Signal loss???

I am currently planning to set up a wireless link between my house and a
friends, over a distance of about 3.5km.  We are both situated on hills and
have perfect line of site.  There is however extensive residential, some
commercial space, and two freeways underneath the area where the signal
would be brodcast.  Do you think this will cause much degradation of signal?
