[MLB-WIRELESS] LMR 400 and connectors

Hi Everyone,

After initial testing it looks like I have been successful in establising a
700m p2p link between me and a friends house. Things are looking reasonably
good at present. I have used two Compaq wireless cards and some modified
Galaxy antennas to test the link initially. As I had some RG-213 hanging
around I have used this instead of buying expensive coax

It now looks like time to setup something a bit more permanent. I have need
to get some LMR-400 or equivelent. I am sure someone else has already done
the research, perhaps they could let me know who has the best deal at
present on this stuff?

Also I want to run a VPN between the points. Is there a floppy disk based
Linux router that can handle IPSEC or the like? I have looked at a couple
with linited success.

Thanks
Richard
